nqla is committed to making the NQLA platform accessible to as many people as possible, including users with disabilities.
Our approach
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. We build with semantic HTML, keyboard-navigable interfaces, sufficient colour contrast, a light/dark theme, and full right-to-left and multilingual support (Arabic, English, French).
Ongoing effort
Accessibility is continuous work; we test and improve as the platform evolves.
Known limitations
Some third-party components (e.g. interactive maps) may not be fully accessible; we look for accessible alternatives where possible.
