Platform Overview
What this is
NQLA is an e-commerce order-fulfillment and logistics SaaS. Instead of each merchant running their own warehouse and delivery fleet, NQLA brings everyone onto one platform: you list your products, your stock lives in partner warehouses, and partner delivery companies carry your orders to the customer. Money moves between everyone through wallets and settlements.
The actors
- Merchants (Clients) — list products, stock them into warehouses, create orders, handle returns, and cash out their wallet.
- Storage Companies — operate warehouses and confirm the stock that merchants send in.
- Delivery Companies — accept orders and assign them to their drivers.
- Drivers — pick up and deliver orders, and report success or failure.
- Admins — approve requests, oversee operations, and run the platform.
End-to-end flow (product → settlement)
- Product — you create a product in your catalog (name, SKU, category, price, image).
- Stock — you submit an inventory request to put quantity of that product into a warehouse. Stock becomes usable only after a storage company confirms it.
- Order — you create an order for a customer. The system reserves stock (FIFO) and locks in commission and tax at that moment.
- Delivery — the order is approved, assigned to a delivery company, then to a driver, and goes out for delivery.
- Outcome — the order is delivered or marked failed. Delivered orders can later be returned (full or partial).
- Settlement — proceeds, commissions, and charges flow through wallets; you withdraw your balance when you want to cash out.
Billing
Your access to the platform is subscription-based through Stripe. Your plan sets your limits (for example, how many products you can manage) and your commission percentage. Day-to-day balances between you and the platform are handled by wallets and settlements.
